WATER MISSION is a volunteer engineering organization that designs, builds and implements safe water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) solutions for people in developing countries and disaster areas.

Water Mission is working closely with FEMA Puerto Rico and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to provide safe water to Puerto Rico in Hurricane Maria’s aftermath. Safe water is now flowing in three communities!

They are poised to deploy:

– 6 Filtration/Chlorination systems with diesel generators

– 6 Chlorination systems with Solar Powered Pumps

– 8 Reverse Osmosis Systems (desalination plants)

Water Mission has started deploying staff and equipment capable of providing 60,000 people with safe water every day. In addition, we are working with corporate and field partners to provide generators and other emergency supplies to meet the growing need.

Our thanks to Priska Juschka and Paul Bridgewater for their installation design.
