Coronavirus Updates for The Clemente

Ongoing until April 30, 2020

As the world struggles to make sense of where we are right now, we have a renewed commitment to the importance of our trans-local mission to bridge and subsidize communities of practice, cultural backgrounds and artistic disciplines embodied in the creative spaces of our building and our neighborhood. Although The Clemente building is currently under full closure until further notice, during this stage of the COVID-19 pandemic, our operations remain active off-site.

We will continue to provide updates to keep everyone connected and serve as a resource conduit to our internal and external constituencies of freelance artists, small cultural organizations,  LES residents & Latinx New Yorkers.

We are constantly looking to find virtual alternatives to showcase new work and spark conversations during our time at home. We have created a survey to support and share artists’ works through our platforms. If you are interested please complete this form

Please sign up to our newsletter and follow us on our social media.

For rental or re-scheduling space logistic contact: klopez@theclementecenter.org

Office Staff is working remotely and available via email at: info@theclementecenter.org

Messages will be collected throughout the day and forwarded to each staff member.

Thanks for working with us during this time.

We are monitoring the situation and offer updates on a weekly basis.
