Micro Theater – March 9, 10, & 11, 2018

Teatro SEA announces the selected plays for the fourth season of MicroTheater New York. With an LGBTQ+ theme, this season will take place on March 9, 10, and 11, 2018 in alternative spaces in Teatro SEA and The Clemente located at 107 Suffolk Street, New York, NY 10002.

The Selection Committee unanimously decided that the plays presented in MicroTheater New York will be:

– Café adulterado, by Francisco Cardozo.

– El Diván, by Fernando Travesí.
Presented by María Fontanals.

– En una noche pirata, cualquiera se tapa un ojo, by Hansel Porras García.
Presented by Hansel Porras.

– Vestido de novia, by Fernando Azpúrua.
Presented by Corezon.

– Yo no escribí eso, by José Luis Useche.
Presented by José Luis Useche.

All of the micro-plays will be between 15 – 20 minutes long and will be presented five times in a row, simultaneously, allowing audience members to decide the amount of time they spend at the theater and select the plays they are interested in seeing. Tickets are $5 per performance, per person.

Micro Theater for Younger Audiences – March 10, 2018

 Microteatro Infantil/Microtheater for young audiences is a production of Teatro SEA, under the direction of Manuel Morán and the artistic co-direction of George Riverón. In its second season at Teatro SEA, a series of shortened performances will showcase a seasonal selection of our award-winning full length shows for families and children. These micro performances are approximately 15 – 20 minutes in length. Three different puppet shows will run three times simultaneously at 3pm, 3:30pm and 4pm with a 15 minute interval between each performance. Get tickets here.
