We are thrilled to announce Afro Brazil Arts Inc. (ABA) First Annual Showcase on Sunday, March 25th, 2018 at the LATEA Theater on the second floor of the Clemente Soto-Velez.

The showcase will celebrate Brazilian culture, the capoeira community and feature performances by our most talented students, teachers and master capoeira artists. Proceeds from the event will support ABA’s ongoing Teen Leadership Program.


About Afro Brazil Arts Inc.

Afro Brazil Arts is a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire wellness, leadership and community through Mindful Capoeira made accessible to people of all ages and abilities. Each year since 1988, ABA has impacted thousands of youth through classes and performances featuring Mindful Capoeira. ABA oversees the New York Mindful Capoeira Center in NYC’s Lower East Side where youth from three years old to men and women practice year round.

Afro Brazil Arts welcomes your support to fund performances for under-served teens in NYC high schools, scholarships for classes at our CAQ New York Mindful Capoeira Center and leadership training and development for program participants.
