esperanza spalding & The Songwrights Apothecary Lab: conversation & shareback

Songwrights Apothecary Lab is a live installation where esperanza spalding and her fellow songwrights, researchers and mentors are creating original music. The creation of this original music, which the lab is sharing with visitors during the festival, continues spalding's exploration over the past years of how musicians might meaningfully incorporate therapeutic practices and knowledge into their work. On June 18 at 3pm ET, the lab opens for audiences to hear music being created in the lab as well as conversations between the musical collaborators and the researchers.
