STATEMENT

I learned the trade and secrets of steel and woodworking from local old masters. I believe in the shop learning experience.

I love ancient craftsmanship.

I believe in the importance of drawing, beauty, and the essence of a shape.

I try to mix ancient Mediterranean culture with new ideas from the Americas.

I believe in the importance of quality work made by hand from beginning to end.

No shortcuts, no computers, no fancy machines. All is done with my hands.

I always hope that those who see my work feel a sense of peace, humor, and beauty.

Csv has been fundamental in my life as an artist. I was able to become a professional artist only because csv has given me a great space and the peace to create and work in NYC
