Body Mapping

It's not the artwork that matters; it's the message. During the workshop, participants will use drawings to share their stories. Drawing their body on large rolls of paper, this 90-minutes workshop explores how our bodies become receptacles and messengers of the multiple realities we are immersed in. Using drawings to share stories, the workshop challenges the participants to think about how they view their stories in relationship with themselves and their bodies.Body maps are a way of storytelling, much like totems that contain symbols with different meanings. Body maps allow us to connect with our memories and emotions to give voice and visibility to one's identity.

All guests will be required to be fully vaccinated (please bring proof of vaccination). All visitors will be required to wear a face-covering at all times while they are at The Clemente. In addition, all surfaces are being sanitized on a regular basis.
