Arrume is a Colombian / Venezuelan term referring to the mountainous stuff of accumulated time and histories awaiting their advent. The point of convergence between the participating artists, Juan Santiago, Alejandro Tobón, Andrés Monzón, Lorena Zuluaga Cardona, is to explore what defines them in a given space and time as one moves towards occupying a determined place. The territorial inquiries of the artworks combine an ethnographic approach to places of encounter and the embodied circumstances of crossing and passing through.
