Playlab Art Explorers

Playlab Art Explorers is an afterschool art program for children 5-12 years of age. Sessions will be offered on Wednesdays, 3:00pm to 5:00pm with the option for free pick up from neighborhood schools. We also offer the option of extending the session as needed until 5:30pm.

This school aged program is a small group (up to 10 kids with 2/3 teachers) and will be guided by the same process oriented, and hands on exploration that is an integral part of our teaching philosophy with our preschool aged playgroup. Classes will be headed up by Manuela Viera Gallo & Jennifer Sunderland in collaboration with Cecilia J. Chueca. All are engaging educators with decades of experience between them as teaching artists. They love sharing the creative process with their students through experimenting and exploring together, utilizing a vast array of materials and the uses of them to approach different concepts.
