Open Studios 2024

The Clemente Soto Velez Cultural & Educational Center is pleased to announce the 27th edition of Open Studios on Saturday, September 21 from 2-9 pm and Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 2-6pm.

This year’s Open Studios weekend will feature five floors of visual and performing arts. Stay tuned for the full list of participating artists and organizations!

Sanctuary

Sanctuary, curated by Hayler Ferber, brings together nine artists using a vast array of media to explore their connection to place. Pamella Allen, Cecilia André, María Dusamp, Stephen Hilger, Guillermo Mena, LuLu Meng, Jeffrey Morabito, Frank Parga, and Manju Shandler create works from handmade paper, wood, sand, oil paint, and other mediums to layer intrinsic associations of materiality to the “landscapes” they are depicting.
