Hamid Roslan is a poet, essayist, and arts administrator. He worked at Pratt Institute and was the Senior Manager, Sector Development (Literary Arts) at the National Arts Council (NAC) in Singapore, where he managed the grant applications that came into the team, managed professional development programs for artists and other arts administrators, helped run the Cultural Medallion and Young Artist Award, and programmed for the Singapore Writers’ Festival 2020. In his own writing practice, he is the co-editor of The Second Link: An Anthology of Malaysian & Singaporean Writing (Marshall Cavendish Editions, 2023), and author of in all the places I could not find you (self-published, 2022) and parsetreeforestfire (Ethos Books, 2019), a finalist for the Singapore Literature Prize 2020. He was awarded the NAC Arts Management Scholarship in 2013.
