Kovid Pal Odouard is an undergraduate student studying History and Comparative Literature at NYU and an archivist at the Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space. They hope to document histories of anticapitalist alternatives in New York and work to democratize access to enriching community life.
At the Clemente, Kovid does research on urban spaces reclaimed by grassroots Latine activists and anti-imperialism in New York’s Latine diasporas. They are also developing the archival protocol for Fonoteca, a public listening space and archive of Latin music.
In their free time, they love to care for plants, cook Bengali meals, and make art with micron pens and watercolors.
