The Clemente is an epicenter of affordable opportunities for artists, creatives, and audiences of Latinx and diverse cultural backgrounds in our community of the Lower East Side/Loisaida. Home to an ensemble of four theaters, 42 visual art studio spaces, 13 nonprofit arts organizations, rehearsal, exhibition and performance spaces that nurture and exhibit the visual arts, music, dance, film/video & poetry, The Clemente provides meaningful support to thousands of artists, and tens of thousands of audiences annually.

Your support makes this work happen. A general donation allows us to keep our doors open as a hub of responsive arts and collaboration, supports our services to the field, artistic community, neighborhood character, and protects our legacy for generations to come.
