Nobody's Coming: Or what your friends without kids worry about at night

  • The Clemente Center, Flamboyán Theater 107 Suffolk Street New York, NY, 10002 United States (map)

12 characters. 6 worlds. 2 people. In the timeless expanse of space, in the vast prism of life on the fringes, it’s only ever two people.

Nobody's Coming: Or what your friends without kids worry about at night is a nesting doll of timelines and characters groping for meaning on the fringes of experience. Tim Mele and Nicole Kontolefa invite you into a dreamscape of paleoclimatologists, stranded mountain climbers, deep space castaways, and dead-end desert dwellers. These characters (and more) are all at a tipping point groping for meaning. In each other, the stars, or in some bold action… But are they enough?

Join us on this irreverent voyage into the scattered topography of a family tree that will bear no fruit.

Free children's activity is available at matinee performances. Children 6+ are welcome to join a teaching artist in the rehearsal studio at Studio 309 for an art-making activity while their adults enjoy the show in the Flamboyán.
